The Pacers star was trying to fake out Derrick White with a quick pace change during a layup attempt. Haliburton’s shoe slipped on the play, and he did a big split, pulling his groin and hamstring. He immediately held his hamstring and started rolling on the floor, writhing in pain. The 23-year-old tried to walk it off but failed. He was eventually carried to the locker room by his teammates while he held his head down in tears.

Haliburton played 13 minutes and scored 7 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds before leaving the game. The severity of Haliburton’s injury is still unknown, and it is uncertain when he will return to action. The Pacers fans hope Haliburton has not suffered a major injury, as he has been their best player throughout the season.
