19-year-old rookie Victor Wembanyama had the best performance of his young NBA career last night. He scored a career-high 38 points, along with 10 rebounds, to get his second win over Kevin Durant this week. Wemby dominated the game from the tip-off and helped his team get a 20-point lead at the half. Kevin Durant and Co tried to make a comeback late in the fourth quarter, bringing the game to within one point. That is when Wembanyama took over the game and scored several clutch buckets to seal the game.

Where does Victor Wembanyama rank among the Most Clutch Players?

Victor Wembanyama’s insane performance against Kevin Durant and Co. put him in elite company last night. He joined King James, Luka Doncic, and Chef Curry in the Most Clutch Players list. Wembanyama has scored 21 points in clutch time so far this season, which helped him get past Stephen Curry, who has 20 clutch points in the first 5 games.

The only two players ahead of Victor in the most clutch time points this season are 4-time Champion LeBron James and 4-time First Team All-NBA Luka Doncic.

Luka ranks second in the list with 22 points, and King James is sitting on the throne as the Most Clutch Player of the season with 23 points.

Although it is very early in the season, it is crazy to think that Wembanyama has already made such a huge impact on the league. To be ranked among legends like LeBron and Steph is a big achievement for the 19-year-old Frenchman.

The 7’4 rookie is putting up elite performances and insane highlights every time he steps on the floor, and his performance is also translating to wins. The Spurs have won three of their first five games, which is very impressive, considering they were the worst team in the Western Conference last season.

If Wembanyama continues his dominance throughout the season, he can make his first All-Star team this year. That will give him an edge over LeBron James, who did not make the All-Star team in his rookie season. Victor will join NBA Hall of Famers, including Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Magic Johnson if he becomes an All-Star this year.
