From Group A- Canada, Australia, and Greece have qualified with 3 teams coming from Group B- Germany, France, and Brazil. And finally, USA and Serbia will emerge from Group C. In addition, the Paris Olympics men’s basketball brackets were published too, which showcased Team USA, Brazil, Serbia, and Australia on one side, while Germany, France, Canada, and Greece were on the other.

Paris Olympics men’s basketball quarter-final timings

The first game of the day will be between Germany and Greece. The games will take place in the Accor Arena in Paris at 11 AM local time; 5 AM ET. Germany won all 3 Group B games with a +47 point differential! The reigning FIBA World Cup Champions who stunned Team USA will aim for their first medal in the competition to end their 88-year hunt and, by the looks of it, they’re the favorites to do just that.

The next game will feature Serbia and Australia with a tip-off time of 8:30 ET/14:30 local time. The Boomers will look to at least replicate their Bronze from 2021, however, they are up against Nikola Jokic and Co. a growing force in the hoop world.

The 3rd game of the day pits France against Canada. The tip-off time for this will be 12 PM ET/ 18:00 local time. Canada with their 2-6 overall record against France, will look to capitalize on the hosts and 3-time silver medalists France, who haven’t been convincing in comparison to Canada’s spotless 3-0 record in the group stage.

And finally, Team USA will play Brazil at 15:30 ET/ 21:30 local time in the closing game of the quarter-finals. Team USA will aim for their 5th gold on the trot. The men in blue looked laser-focused, yet to lose a single game, including the 5 exhibitions leading up to the Paris Olympics. On the other hand, Brazil are aiming for their first Top 4 showing for the first time since 1968.
