The 4x NBA champion made some bold statements about the Dallas Cowboys on his Instagram Live. Previously, he used to cherish the club, however; he was disappointed with their treatment of the national anthem.

LeBron stated, “I had to sit down on the Cowboys, man”. He said that he was dissatisfied with the apparent danger for the players.

Due to Colin Kaepernick’s nonviolent protest during the national anthem, the athletes might lose their position in the club if they joined in. James felt this position insulting and opted to leave the Cowboys, voicing his worries about the organization’s approach to players’ free expression. He recently came live on Instagram and spoke about his feelings toward the Cowboys. James stated, “I know we gotta lot of Cowboy fans in America. I AM NOT ONE OF THEM.”

He further added by showing love to his new favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. James said, “I’m going with the 49ers. Shoutout to the 49ers”. His newly found affection toward this team seems to be because of the 49ers running back, Christian McCaffrey. The 49ers have gained massive popularity in large part from McCaffrey’s outstanding performance in the 35-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

McCaffrey surpassed Jerry Rice’s team record by scoring a touchdown in his 13th consecutive game. That game left one of the greatest basketball players today speechless. Christian McCaffrey, who was aware of LeBron’s appreciation, responded with, “I’m a LeBron James fan”. The NFL star was ecstatic with the basketball legend’s attention, highlighting how great it was.
