He has lost the ability to score points which he was renowned to do at ease. Although it is true that Russell Westbrook does not need to get down to that level yet it does not give the right to anyone to be disrespectful. Russ doesn’t need to prove himself to someone who has the sole purpose of instigating someone. Russ has been in the league long enough to know his worth and one bad season does not make his whole career disappear.

The fans need to understand that anyone can get affected by things like these. In reality, it is good as long as it is healthy banter. Anything above and beyond that only spoils the precious relationship the fans and the players share.

Moreover, he is the player with most triple doubles(192) in the history of the NBA. Ideally, fans hope he can bounce back from this terrible phase and show his doubters the quality he possesses.
