The Golden State Warriors are having a rough time with injuries and roster changes. It all started with their star player Klay Thompson getting benched in 2019 due to an injury. Ever since then, Steph Curry is heading the team without his Splash partner.

Klay, who suffered a serious ACL injury two seasons back, is probably making a comeback in the 2021-22 season. The 3-time NBA champion was spotted back in training and rebuilding his form. Well, this time, Klay has a famous gym partner – Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao is eager to learn Klay’s skillset

Pacquiao recently posted a few photographs on Instagram of him and the Warriors star at the Wild Card Gym. The caption read, Nice to have Klay Thompson at Wild Card Gym today! I told Klay I would teach him how to fight if he’ll teach me how to shoot.”

Pacquiao, popularly known as PacMan, is up for a title fight against Errol Spence Jr. PacMan is one of the greatest boxers of all time having bagged 12 major world titles. The welterweight boxer hasn’t been in the ring for an entire 2020 year. However, after a long dry spell, he is giving his everything to take this win home.

On the other hand, his new guest in the gym, Klay Thompson is also preparing for a similar return to the league. It’s yet to be calculated that how well Klay finds his previous form. Moreover, with a young roster getting built, he is yet to get in sync with his teammates and their playing strategy.
