At this point, it seems that Dame is testing every possibility of what he can do to win a championship next year. The 32-year-old guard was drafted overall 6th pick by the Portland Trailblazers, and he has been the team’s leader almost from the get-go. The day Green declined a contract extension offer with the Warriors, he himself was spotted at a party in France with his good friend LeBron James. Rumors have started circulating about Green potentially joining the Los Angeles Lakers?next season.

Dame’s engagement at the event with Green and Vanderbilt further lends weight to the possibility of Dame Dolla wearing the purple and gold next season.

Would Dame and the Lakers fit together?

Dame values his loyalty. Unfortunately, fans are brutal and they often leave Lillard out of the conversation of top players due to his lack of a championship. He would surely like to change this before he hangs up his boots. The?Los Angeles Lakers desperately need a third Star player in the team alongside LBJ and Anthony Davis who can thrive as an on-ball offensive player. Of course, the Lakers will have to dish out a lot of talent to secure Lillard’s services.

Recently Dame expressed his concerns over the treatment of Russell Westbrook in the Lakers team, he didn’t like to see him coming off the bench and said he is a hall-of-fame player who should have been treated better. So, one can imagine that he might have apprehensions about the Lakers’ treatment of star guards.

Damian Lillard’s future still remains a puzzle, and only time will tell where he actually ends up next season.
