NBA legend and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal promoted the cryptocurrency exchange FTX and became the ambassador for the brand. Unfortunately, the company filed for bankruptcy in November 2022 due to not having been able to meet customers’ demands. As a result, a class-action lawsuit was filed against the CEO and others involved with the company, including Shaq, not long after it collapsed.

However, lawyers recently disclosed that they couldn’t reach the four-time champion as he was trying to avoid them by ‘hiding in his home’. The news of lawyers having a hard time meeting Shaq emerged just a few days after the company announced that around $8.92 billion in customer funds were missing.

It seems that the legals got their facts wrong about the Big Diesel, though – at least about him bunking up at home – as the legend was seen in Kansas City last night, having come to witness an epic basketball game!

Shaquille O’Neal was spotted in the T-Mobile Center on Saturday night

The Kansas Jayhawks and Texas Longhorns locked horns last night in the Big 12 championship title game. Texas won the game (56-76) and therefore automatically received the Big 12 championship bid to the 2023 March Madness: NCAA Championship tournament.

A video shared by ESPN revealed that Shaq was present in the jam-packed T-Mobile Center to witness Texas creating history. The video initially revealed the four-time champion sitting courtside, watching the game and interacting with the people beside him. Finally, the clip showcased the 3x Finals MVP meeting the notable commentator, Dick Vitale. Both of them shook hands and greeted each other and subsequently traded a few words while Vitale planted a kiss on Shaq’s cheek.

Over the video, the audio which could be heard was nothing but Vitale’s praise for the Big Diesel. He said, “The Shaq is in the house. Came over here, I got a big hug and a kiss from my man, Shaquille. I’ll never forget his coming out party when LSU played Arizona. They played Arizona and he just dominated.”
