During the last night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns, the four-time champion Stephen Curry wasn’t kind to anyone, not even his brother-in-law Damion Lee who was playing for the Suns. In the first quarter, Curry tricked and pushed Lee out of the way while he was desperately trying to stop him, subsequently scoring a three-pointer over his sister’s husband. In light of this, the Suns guard seemingly took revenge on the nine-time All-Star by locking horns with one of his fellow teammates, JaMychal Green.

This altercation made players from both franchises involve to stop the aforementioned players. Moreover, it even drew reactions from Sonya Curry as she was seen screaming at Draymond Green for unspecified reasons.

In the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, Lee and Green could be seen arguing and confronting each other. TJ Warren had to grab and pull away his teammate to stop the argument from going further. However, a few seconds later, both of them crossed swords again on the other side of the court and had to be separated by their fellow teammates as the Suns guard shoved the Warriors big man. Both of them received a technical foul with just 1:12 seconds remaining in the clock.

A clip uploaded by noted journalist Alex Espinoza IV on his official Twitter handle revealed Sonya Curry expressing her feelings and trading a few words with Green as soon as the said altercation took place. It is unknown what they were talking about but it seemed like they were just having fun and playing around with each other.

Curry revealed what was Sonya and Green talking about. According to Espinoza IV, he said, “That was like old-school AAU back in the day where parents get involved. JaMychal and D-Lee had their moment. … She was gonna switch sides to protect her son-in-law. That’s what it was all about. Just some good fun back-and-forth.”
