Austin Rivers: “Golden State Warriors Look Very Solid Right Now. I Hate to See It”

The Golden State Warriors may not have ranked high during the last two seasons for several reasons, especially with the injuries that their players suffered. However, their performance in the current campaign has seen them reach the top. It is even more surprising considering that they are maintaining this level of play despite Klay Thompson’s absence.

One can only wonder about what might happen when Thompson returns.

While maintaining the top spot in the league across various statistics, they have made some players angry with their performance.

As Austin Rivers discussed their game on social media with fans, he mentioned:

“Golden State definitely looks very solid right now. I hate to see it. I don’t like it one bit. I’m tired of that f–king team.”

Austin Rivers recently shared his thoughts about the Warriors’ performances.

Stephen Curry’s dominating presence along with Andrew Wiggins’ great forward play has helped the Warriors maintain their current record of 26-6. They face the Phoenix Suns in their next game.

During his Instagram live session, Rivers shared his opinions on the performance of the Warriors, saying:

“They got a good mix of young talent, good vets… A lot of you Warriors fans was off [Andrew] Wiggins when he first signed with the Warriors, keep it 100. Last year you all was talking about ‘trade him, this and that’ now everybody is talking all highly. Come on now.”

On social media, it appears that most Warriors fans don’t agree with his point of view, as some started roasting him. There were varied reactions and here are some of the best among them:

Rivers had been a part of the LA Clippers and Houston Rockets and is currently a member of the Denver Nuggets roster. He also won the ACC Rookie of the Year award in 2012.
