“Baby Do What You Want”: Timothee Chalamet’s “Backless Top” Provokes Big Dennis Rodman Confession

Dennis Rodman is known for his bold style and unique actions in the NBA. He often pulled out extraordinary stunts, making him a legendary celebrity who was ahead of his team. Back in 1996, Rodman made a public appearance wearing a wedding dress and claimed to marry himself during the promotion of his memoir, ‘Bad as I Wanna Be’. Recently, actor Timothee Chalamet’s backless top style on the red carpet provoked a massive confession from Dennis Rodman about his wedding dress stunt.

The five-time NBA champ recently appeared on Drew’s News. Dennis Rodman was asked to give his take on the backless boy suit for men which have become a new trend. Timothee Chalamet is the latest celebrity to have been spotted wearing a backless shirt. The host asked for Rodman’s opinion on the matter and where his idea of a wedding dress promotion came from.

The Worm shared that he returned to a hotel in New York after doing a TV show in London with his world-renowned fashion designer friend. They discussed the ideas for his book promotion when Dennis Rodman shared that he wanted to make a public appearance in a wedding dress. The designer eventually agreed to make Rodman a wedding dress for his big cause while the Bulls legend went down to the workout room.

Steve Tyler affirms the wedding dress idea from Dennis Rodman

Surprisingly, Rodman ran into popular American singer and fashion icon Steven Tyler. Subsequently, Rodman decided to ask for advice regarding his wedding dress idea with Tyler. Dennis Rodman revealed“I said, ‘Steven what do you think? You think a wedding dress would be good for a book promotion? He said, ‘Baby do what you want.'”

Steven Tyler’s nod to Rodman’s idea motivated him to make it a reality. The two-time All-Star arrived at a Barnes and Noble in a horse carriage dressed in a wedding gown. Moreover, Dennis Rodman was accompanied by a bunch of women dressed in tuxedos.

During the promotion, The Worm admitted to being bisexual and claimed to be marrying himself. The shocking promotional stunt acted as a big boost for his book which remained on the New York Best Sellers list for 20 weeks.

The Chicago Bulls legend also talked about how he liked hanging out in gay bars during his free time. Rodman further stated that he started showing off his unique styling when he was with the San Antonio Spurs in 1993.
