The relationship between Ben Simmons and the Philly fans has gone down south. Despite playing for the franchise for a long time, Simmons has not lived up to the potential he showed from his early days. The playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks proved to be the final nail in the coffin. After facing backlash from the fans, Simmons called it quits; thus, the point guard was prepared to leave the team. However, recent reports have emerged, stating he may continue playing with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Despite the long-standing faceoff between the team and the player, an NBA source has claimed that the player may stay with the Sixers via Twitter.
