The Warriors have shown their class once again. They went 2-0 up against the Denver Nuggets in the 7-game series in the first round of the playoffs. The commanding display continued in the second game as Stephen Curry made his proper comeback from the ankle injury.

Steph went off against Jokic’s side. He scored 34 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Steph looked certainly back to his best as he surged through for the Warriors. Not only Curry, but the whole Warriors lineup was also impressive. Klay got 21 as Jordan Poole had a ‘Poole party’ once again!

Jordan Poole got 29 points 5 rebounds and absolutely quality 8 assists. After being snubbed for the MIP finalists, Jordan Poole showed why people have been head over heels for the 22-year-old guard. Klay Thompson was also amazingly effective.

The Dubnation was jumping up and down the whole game. Even when the Warriors were behind in the game during the first half their body language never looked like they were worried about it because of the superior quality of Steph, Klay, and Poole.

The Warriors had a dip in form towards the end of the regular season when they had 6 losses in the last 10 games or so. But now they are well and truly back and the credit has to go to the trio in absolute sync.

The three stars combined for 84 points and had the game by its neck. The passing, the movement, and the shooting everything looked smooth and efficient. That is why the fans have held them so high in their praises.

The Nuggets were below par once again. Nikola Jokic scored 26 points which by his standards and the season he has had was underwhelming. Nobody else on the Denver team came close to scoring as many as Jokic.

However, more than the Nuggets playing badly it was the Warriors that had control of the game. Even when they were behind they never for one moment looked out of the game. The Warriors were focused and got the job done in an impressive fashion.
