Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls. After winning his first championship, Jordan purchased the estate in the Highland park area, which stands on the outskirts of Chicago, for just north of $2 Million. He bought the estate with his wife, Juanita Venoy, in 1991. Jordan built the entire mansion from the ground up and made numerous customizations on the property. However, after living in the mansion for 19 years, Jordan put it on the market in 2012.

Ten years later, the luxurious mansion remains vacant without a buyer. Jordan listed the estate on the market with an asking price of $29 Million. Jordan then dropped the price to $21 Million, and he further re-listed it at $16 Million. There were no buyers; thus, the price now stands at a far cry, $14.9 Million. The current price of $14.9 Million has an attached meaning to it; the numbers on the asking price add up to 23, which was the jersey number of Jordan.
