Starting their season on the wrong foot, the Washington Wizards looked like they were going to end up at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with no point of return. But they have actually picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and have managed to climb to the twelfth position. However, one mustn’t forget that none of this would have been possible if Bradley Beal had given up on them. The star is making and breaking the most unique records every day, despite being a part of a team that is considered a lost cause.
Beal had a blockbuster month
One look at the Wizards record and anybody can tell that they have been struggling so far. But this is exactly what the story of this franchise has been for decades now. Bradley Beal, who has and still is dedicating the prime years of his life to the team, is doing wonders on an individual level. But what difference does this make when his team isn’t thriving the same way?

The Washington Wizards‘ losing reputation has cost Beal not only a championship on his resume but constant All-Star snubs over the years. It was just this year that he finally got picked as he is the lead scorer in the league right now.

In fact, the star has added another unique record to his name. As per Stathead, “Bradley Beal had 474 points in February. That’s the most points by any player in the month of February since Kobe Bryant had 569 in February 2003.”

This record comes just after the guard added his name next to Michael Jordan and James Harden in another incredible record.
Bradley Beal playing like Kobe Bryant
This isn’t a comparison between one of the greatest players to ever exist and Beal. But there is somewhat of a resemblance, given the way his form has been this season. The Wizards’ star hasn’t scored anything below 30 points in most games.

Beal has also had back-to-back 50 point games in the season so far, becoming the first franchise player to do so. After his recent victory against the Timberwolves, he said something only a true champion would. He explained that every victory is important for the team, but there is still a lot to do ahead.
