The NBA world has probably seen very few players of Stephen Curry’s caliber. With four NBA championships under his name and so many records broken so far, he is undoubtedly one of the greatest to step on the basketball court. Hence, getting a chance in his all-time starting five is no small matter, as a player of his caliber would likely scrutinize very carefully before taking a player on his team. However, recently the Golden State Warriors superstar shared his all-time starting five that contained many greats of the game, but for one glaring exception. Notably, the Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James. In light of this, Curry’s proposed list created a lot of noise in the NBA world online.

In an interview with?Sports Illustrated,?Stephen Curry finally let the cat out of the bag. He revealed his all-time starting five, which included himself and four other legends of the game. Curry was told his starting five had to include himself, so he started by picking Magic Johnson for his team, who along with him Curry said would play as hybrid guards.

He then added Michael Jordan to his team. After that, Curry picked Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki to shoot the ball and space the floor. And finally, he finished off his list by getting the Big Diesel,?Shaquille O’Neal to hold everything down on the court.

Interestingly, Curry left out LeBron James from his all-time starting five, which in return created quite a buzz among fans. They quickly took to social media to express their views about the selections.

Many fans seemingly didn’t agree with Curry’s all-time starting five list. From the comments, it was apparent that the fans couldn’t take the fact of not including the Los Angeles Lakers icon. Many fans commented that Curry might have not yet gotten over the 2016 NBA Finals series when the Warriors lost to LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers side, despite leading the series 3-1.

The series ended 4-3 to the Cavs as they staged an?epic comeback?against the Golden State Warriors, during James’ second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
