The sheer excitement of a new “Big Three” forming up in Miami sends shivers down the basketball community. Never since the era of MJ, Pippen, and Rodman, there has been a trio like that. So the excitement of the crowd was pretty obvious. Chris Bosh opened up in a recent interview about the little fun they had within themselves.

“It’s that when you are younger, you don’t know all the way, you get wiser for a reason and then we were having so much fun. We were just caught up in the moment,” said Bosh.

Even though it left an unpleasant taste for a lot of fans in the league, the dramatic entrance was worth it. Bosh spoke about being young and not thinking about anything else rather than having fun themselves. He spoke about having a call with Wade and LeBron before they signed up for the Miami-based franchise. Notably, there were also reports that they were going to end up in Chicago Bulls but chose Miami instead.

But make no mistake, these three players changed the whole complexion of the league.

The “Big Three” dominated the league

When James signed up for the Heat in 2010, the trio played entertaining basketball till 2014. During those 4 seasons, they won 2 NBA titles and appeared in four consecutive finals. The Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs won the other two championships. But the offensive display of basketball showcased by the Heat during those years was incredible.

During those glory years, LeBron averaged 26.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game during the regular season while shooting with an effective field goal percentage of 57.7 percent. Wade complements LeBron well by scoring mid-range and clutch shots, while Bosh did the work defensively for the side. The trio was a well-oiled machine that crushed opponents on their way.

While these three players were successful with the franchise, they left a sour taste in the eyes of many basketball fans. People accused them of killing the league because obviously, they were too talented. However, players have their dreams, and James, Wade, and Bosh lived their dream.
