Considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, Michael Jordan’s stature in NBA remains undisputed. The Chicago Bulls legend helped the NBA gain a foothold in new worldwide market of basketball fans. A Bulls roster with players like Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman also partnered with Jordan in the NBA.
However, Pippen and Jordan’s media feud has gathered immense scrutiny with a former NBA player commenting on it.

Oakley said, “Scottie feels like he’s got six rings, Michael’s got six rings. One thing [Scottie] did say when he first got to the league when he was a rookie, he said he wanted to be better than Mike. He feels like he’s better than Mike. He said it back then, a lot of people just didn’t hear him say it.
Scoffing at Pippen’s assertions, Oakley said, “If you asked 100 people who’s better, 99 are going to say Michael Jordan, so [Scottie’s] the one. There’s always one, right?” Oakley holds some authority over the matter as he played alongside Jordan and Pippen in the NBA. He spent three years with the Bulls, where he was teammates with the duo. He reunited with Jordan once again at the Washington Wizards in 2002.
Jordan joined the Bulls as the third overall pick of the 1984 NBA draft. His NBA career witnessed him steering the Bulls to six NBA titles. The Bulls superstar also won five NBA MVP awards.
