Shaq, however, shared a story when he and Barkley were about to fight in the locker room, but their altercation was prevented by an individual.

Shaquille O’Neal expressed that Charles Barkley possesses valuable insights and has played the game at a high level, making him a significant asset for any team in the league. He also mentioned that their mothers have been friends for almost three decades.

Shaq recounted an incident when he was prepared to fight Barkley, but he received a call from Barkley’s mother, requesting him not to physically harm her son. Additionally, Shaq recalled a time when Chuck attempted to strangle one of his teammates, stating, “Granting he tried to choke one of my teammates out cause part of it is love.” Shaquille O’Neal clarified that despite their past altercations, he and Barkley share a close relationship. It was heartening to witness the four-time champion defend his co-host.

Shaq repeatedly interrupted Barkley, causing visible frustration in Chuck. In response, Barkley threatened the big man by saying, “I’m gonna hit you. I hit a guy with four eyes.” He didn’t hesitate to use the threat of physical violence toward the legendary Lakers player.
