The hoops community has been seeing a potential NBA prospect in LeBron James‘ son Bronny James for quite some time. As King James himself went prep-to-pro in 2003, fans cannot wait to see his son adding to the legacy and potentially joining his father in the premier basketball league. Save the fans, the 4x- NBA champion himself is Bronny’s biggest admirer and has garnered attention for his blatant and unapologetic support of his 18-year-old son. However, as it turns out, LeBron is not the only NBA star who has backed Bronny for the league.

It is pretty common for the sons of NBA stars to follow in their father’s footsteps. The Dallas Mavericks star Tim Hardaway Jr. is one such player who is keeping his father’s legacy live and running. The Mavericks star has recently revealed his thoughts on Bronny’s prospects in the NBA.

While LeBron James has been out injured, he has been entertaining his fans on the Internet with his takes on NBA games and individual performances. Earlier this month, LBJ chimed in with a bold opinion to support his son. LeBron took to twitter and said, “Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. Shit lightweight hilarious.” Few days after LeBron’s scathing take about Bronny being better than certain NBA players, Tim Hardaway Jr. has also expressed his unwavering support for Bronny.

In his recent appearance on the ‘NBA Players Get Outta Pocket‘ podcast, the Mavericks guard gave his two cents on topics ranging from his father’s influence on his career to playing with Luka Doncic. As the conversation shifted to Bronny James and his NBA prospects, Hardaway Jr. could not help but support the prodigy. Alluding to his days as a high school player, the Mavericks star said, “I was playing against NBA guys when I was 16, 17 years old.” Given this experience playing against guys in the league from a young age, Hardaway Jr. is sure that Bronny can do the same.
