Over the course of the past few days, there has been a lot of speculation regarding James Harden’s trade rumors. There have been reports all over the NBA about Harden not being happy in New York. Moreover, the reports even state that Harden is open to relocating to another team and city.

Harden silenced these rumors at the post-game interview against the Lakers. The reporter asked Harden whether he was happy in Brooklyn and the team rotations. Harden replied very casually, “I don’t know about any reports. Did you hear it from me?”

NBA analysts and journalists have been occupied with the Simmons-Harden trade deal. Over the past week, everyone has been talking about whether a trade to Sixers is possible for Harden. Harden shut down these rumors. His interview shows that he is happy with the current situation of the Nets. The fact that he wasn’t fazed by these trade rumors shows that he is extremely focused on performing for the Nets.

Recently, there have been reports from The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Athletic on Harden’s possible trade. These rumors claimed that Harden is unhappy in the city of New York. They also claimed that Harden is against the team rotation. Durant is injured, and Kyrie is not available for any home games. Consequently, this puts a lot of pressure on Harden’s shoulders.

The trade rumors claimed that Harden is open to relocation from the Nets. Most reports speculated that he would end up with the Sixers due to this close relationship with Daryl Morey, their head of basketball operations. Additionally, Harden has a close personal relationship with the co-owner, Michael Rubin.

This trade seemed very likely at the time because Harden will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Moreover, the Sixers are looking to shop Ben Simmons. However, Harden has shown that as of now he has no interest in moving from New York. His focus is to climb the playoff ladder and win this season.

James Harden triple-double today vs Lakers 

The Brooklyn Nets have slacked off over the past month. Two of their big three, Durant and Irving, are unavailable for most games. They have been trying to climb the Eastern Conference ladder and come back on top again.

Lakers had a stellar win in the game. The final score was 106-96 in favor of Lakers. This dominant win came after an exceptional 33 point performance by LeBron James. However, even though the Nets lost, Harden put up quite a spectacular performance.

He had 33 points, 11 assists, 12 rebounds and another triple-double for Harden to add to the books.
