During his 18 seasons in the NBA, LeBron James has had hundreds of teammates, but with few, he has developed a friendship like he has with Kevin Love, with whom he spent his entire second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2014 to 2018, however, when “The King” migrated to the Los Angeles Lakers, Love stayed in Ohio.

That’s why every time James and Love see each other as rivals, the pregame meeting is extremely emotional, hugs, laughter and good vibes are not lacking. But on the court, they are true professionals.
Both of them went to the finals four times and won the 2016 championship. While LeBron was the franchise player for the Cavaliers. Both of them were in All-Star teams. They also won the gold medal in the 2012 Olympics together for the United States National Basketball Team.

Love has remained a key figure in Cleveland, mentoring promising superstars like Evan Mobley and Cedi Osman. So, hence, outside of these matches, we don’t see much of these two. But that has changed.
Love and LeBron met each other in the Miami GP today. There have been rumors about the Cavaliers trading off Love to the Lakers. This picture has fuelled speculation.

This year, when they faced each other, LeBron dunked on Kevin Love. After a pass from Austin Rivers, James, who was cutting to the hoop, spectacularly took off the floor and one-handedly gave away one of the best plays of his season.

“To be completely honest, I hated that it had to be him (Kevin Love),” James said during the press conference afer the game. “He’s my guy. That’s my brother. And I hope I’m still invited to [Love’s] wedding. That’s not even in my all-time dunks so I’ll take it out. I didn’t mean it. K-Love, I love you and I take it back. I wish I could take those two points back and we still win the game by nine.”
