Fans Defend Stephen Curry Who Faces Criticism for Stat Padding Despite Lights Out Performance During NBA All-Star Game

The 2022 All-Star Game presented some insane moments, especially from Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. Curry would finish the game with a 50 point performance and be named MVP of the game. The guard shot lights out from beyond the arc, with some of them at the logo near the half-court line. His accuracy left the crowd stunned as he shot 16 of 27 from beyond the arc.

Curry’s heroics during the game allowed Team LeBron to gain the advantage over Team Durant. However, there were fans on Twitter who claimed that the ‘Chef’ indulged in stat padding as he attempted almost all of his shots from beyond the arc and made nearly 60% of them. However, this was when fans on the flip side came to his rescue. They cited his championship wins and his finals scoring over Kobe, as reasons for Curry being a great player in big moments. In fact, one fan even mentioned that Kobe would be proud of the ‘Chef’s performance.
