Curry’s heroics during the game allowed Team LeBron to gain the advantage over Team Durant. However, there were fans on Twitter who claimed that the ‘Chef’ indulged in stat padding as he attempted almost all of his shots from beyond the arc and made nearly 60% of them. This led to some more fans who thronged in support of Curry.

Fans Come in support of Stephen Curry

The fans who were against Curry claimed that the guard was stat-padding during the game as he almost equaled Anthony Davis’ record for the most points by a player in an All-Star Game. They claimed that Curry could only put up such performances when there was nothing critical on the line.

However, this was when fans on the flip side came to his rescue. They cited his championship wins and his finals scoring over Kobe, as reasons for Curry being a great player in big moments. In fact, one fan even mentioned that Kobe would be proud of the ‘Chef’s performance.

Clearly, shooting efficiently from beyond the arc is no easy task. When the NBA has great players like Curry who can do it with ease, that greatness must be appreciated. Moreover, the man has multiple NBA championships and is a huge reason behind the success of the Warriors. Furthermore, Curry is considered by many as the greatest shooter of all time and he proved that point with his performance during the All-Star Game.
