The NBA All-Star game this year featured the NBA 75 team, and the league honored the legendary players. It included stars of today and the past as they all gathered at the all-star game. Legends like Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson, and stars like Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and others were also seen.

At halftime, the league called out every player in the NBA 75 team and honored them for their contributions. LeBron James was the last to be called out for the forwards, while Michael Jordan was last to be called out for the guards. The two legends’ names may be battling out in the GOAT debate, but they shared a heartwarming moment at the game.

Story of the All-Star weekend

The weekend kicked off with the NBA All-Star celebrity contest featuring celebs from around the world. Then it was rising stars challenge which was held in a new format. Four Hall of Fame players were chosen as coaches and they drafted four teams to compete in a mini-tournament. Then it was the Skills challenge which was won by the hometown team, Team Cavs.

It was followed by the 3 point shooting contest. Karl Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves was the surprise winner of the contest. KAT became the first and only center to win the shooting contest and this just shows how the league has changed in the last few years. Then it was time for the dunk contest which was won by Obi Toppin. But the dunk contest failed to live up to its past hype and fans were left disappointed. They will hope for a better show at the All-star game featuring the best players from the league.
