Booker entered headlines when he became the youngest player to score 70 points in a game. In the first couple of years, Book’s complete potential wasn’t on display with the Suns struggling. But the entry of Chris Paul really allowed Book to elevate to one of the best scorers in the league. And his consistency had led him to a historic feat.

Booker solidified himself as a great scorer after entering an elite list with Kobe Bryant, the King, and KD.

As the leading scorer on the best team in the league, Devin Booker has emerged as a key piece. Since losing in the NBA finals last season, the Suns are determined to make a trip back. And Book holds to key to their offense. Recently, after yet another elite display, Book became the fourth-youngest player to amass 11000 career points. Likewise, fans went crazy about this achievement.

For the longest time, Booker has drawn comparisons to Kobe Bryant. The Mamba, being his idol, Book, sure follows his lessons of hard work. This season, he is a candidate for MVP averaging 26 points as one of the leading scorers in the league. Even without CP3, Booker has impressed as a facilitator. His 28 points and 7 assists against the Timberwolves came as full proof as he reached the historic landmark.

With the Suns being such a dominant side, Book has all the resources to grow. At just 25, there aren’t many crafty scorers like him. In addition, his ability to deliver in the clutch often gets overlooked. While he may not compare to his idol, Kobe, just yet, he is surely following in the right direction. With many more years left on him, Book’s ceiling is only growing.
