The NBA is home to a lot of influential players who have been performing well on the court. LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Carmelo Anthony are some players who have been magnificent on and off the court. They were ambassadors for the game of basketball with their incredible performances during their careers.
Recently, former NBA player Damjan Rudez reflected on his experience when he played with the aforementioned players. LeBron and Kobe, in particular, are benchmarks that the younger generation looks up to.

LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are influential
The game of basketball has seen many legends. But, ‘King James’ and the ‘Black Mamba’ are legends to the current generation of players. The two dominated the 2000s era, and LeBron continues to play in the NBA. The longevity he possesses is amazing.
As mentioned earlier, Rudez sat down in an interview to discuss how he looked upon these legends while playing in the NBA.
“Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James- you know, having a chance to not only you know, be on the court with those guys but you know guard them or have some match-ups against them, it was really a fantastic experience,” said Rudez.
This shows the influence that these players provided for the younger upcoming talent in the league.

How good was Carmelo Anthony?
Carmelo Anthony is the 2013 scoring champion and a 10-time all-star. Known for shots off the dribble, Anthony was one of the most consistent scorers in the NBA. He averaged 25+ points for 9 seasons in his career. It is truly a remarkable effort of consistency and determination.

The small forward was one of the best shooters in the NBA back in the late 2000s. However, he is continuing to perform for the Portland Trail Blazers along with Damian Lillard. No player captured the attention of the masses like he did. Even though he has not won an NBA title, Anthony looks to end that drought with the Blazers.

It is no doubt that these players are some of the most incredible players to play the game of basketball. But, it is also noteworthy of the influence and guidance they gave the younger players in their NBA.
