Perkins said his biggest takeaway from yesterday’s game between the Grizzlies and the Pelicans was the performance of Morant. Furthermore, he said regarding Morant, “He’s the most electrifying, exciting player in today’s game. …He is culture for the league.”?Perkins used Morant as a benchmark for how should a franchise guy be.

He also called Ja Morant ‘Mr. Box Office’, which probably comes from Morant’s star power and ability to turn around a game almost single-handedly.
