

It is a known fact that Michael Jordan is considered one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Particularly during the ’90s, he was the player who was all over the headlines, mainly due to his astonishing on-court performances. Ticket sales were going through the roof, as fans were thronging the arenas to watch the iconic player in action.
Over the course of his career, the former Chicago Bulls shooting guard played over 1,072 games. When we look at his achievements, it is impossible to not consider him a legend of the sport. As a five-time MVP, six-time champ, six-time Finals MVP, 14-time All-Star, and Hall-of-Famer, he enjoyed a long and highly successful journey in the NBA. His goal was not just to inspire himself, but also to inspire those he cared about. Similarly, Jordan did not spare his own children when it came to competition; admitted his daughter Jasmine back in 2020.

There was, however, a reason why he stood out. Especially when we had great players like Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, and Reggie Miller on the court at that time. During Jordan’s tenure with the Bulls, the franchise won six championships in eight years.
With Jordan’s craze of always being the best, winning was something he excelled at. We have all witnessed his competitive nature, both on and off the court.

The daughter of Michael Jordan spoke about her father’s competitive nature
Jasmine answered a few questions centered around how she would describe her father’s competitive nature during an interview to The Undefeated. She was also asked about stories that demonstrate Jordan’s competitive nature. To this, she explained how Jordan will go after anything he wants when there was competition.

She continued to explain that if you were to do a competition on who would eat the fastest, Jordan would go all out to win. In addition, she mentioned that, even at present, her father beats her in Sudoku.
