The Los Angeles Lakers continue their losing spree by losing their last game against the LA Clippers on Wednesday night. And the inability of LeBron James to finish the match turned out to add insult to injury. The Clippers dominated in three quarters of the game, with the Lakers taking the lead in the second quarter. However, LeBron James, in the post-match interview, blamed the referees for not giving adequate free throws for the apparent fouls that happened. And the claims of ‘King James’ towards the referees made the fans go into a frenzy.

James was unsatisfied with the way the referees conducted the game. In the post-match conference, he was found to blame the referees for not giving proper foul calls during the games. He further added that this was the third straight game where the refs told him that they missed foul calls that should have led to free throws for him.

LeBron James left the game suddenly in the fourth quarter. According to Malika Andrews of ESPN, James left the game after reportedly experiencing soreness in his left leg. At that time, they were trailing by 12 points. But after his departure, the Los Angeles Lakers were unable to take any lead, which ultimately resulted in a 114-101 win for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Despite leaving the court early, James produced a fighting performance from his side. He went off the court after scoring 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. After this game, the Lakers continued their losing streak with their fourth consecutive loss. The Lakers now stand 14th in the Western Conference table with a 2-9 record so far.
