Back in 2011, LeBron James became a part-owner of Liverpool. Bron’s RedBird Capital Partners had made an investment into the club’s owner company, Fenway Sports Group. Ever since then, the 4-time NBA champion has become a shareholder of the club. It became another headline piece of news back then.
Basketball and soccer fans often unite in such instances when their star players make a move in either sport.

“Him (LeBron) buying into Liverpool at that time was ridiculous, to the moon,” Larry told the ‘Cooligans’. “He’s the original dogecoin, he’s crazy. But yeah, when Chelsea played Liverpool, there was banter back and forth between us, the whole Super League thing. I kinda stayed out of that because I knew we were right in the middle of it. Just wanted to stay away from that.”

Well, LeBron has many friends in the NBA to have banter with. From Kevin Durant, Steve Nash to James Harden, there are a lot of them having small portions of the clubs. Moreover, the Super League has been a hot topic for most soccer fans after recent developments on the same.
As more and more NBA stars lean towards soccer clubs, there is no doubt that big-name NBA players will have more opportunities to have soccer fan banter among themselves.
