Golden State Warriors can pick an elite shooter to pair with Stephen Curry

The Warriors have been lucky with their selection in the drafts in recent years. Perhaps, it had nothing to do with coach Kerr and everything to do with GM Bob Myers, who himself is on the final stretch of his contract until the end of June. Their recent selections have been great and athletic players like Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, and Moses Moody.

With James Wiseman traded to the Pistons and Draymond Green opting out of his contract they will need a strong forward/center to support Curry and the team in defense and in transitions. A young and athletic prospect can have a positive impact on the squad.

If they need a shooting guard to pair up with Steph and Klay Thompson. They can go for Gradey Dick or NCAA champion Angel Reese’s brother Jordan Hawkins. Hawkins is an elite shooter who helped the Huskies crown champions this year. As a sophomore at Uconn, Hawkins averaged 38% from the 3pt line. If they select the Uconn guard, Stephen Curry, and Angel Reese will have a new connection between them.
