But just hours before the draft lottery, we have a seasoned basketball analyst sharing his point of view on the draft, drawing comparisons between a rising star and LeBron James. And, it’s not Victor.

Among them, Victor Wembanyama, the talented youngster from Europe, is projected to be the number one pick. But he’s not the player we’re talking about. The prospective player, who’s also compared to LeBron James is dynamic, athletic, and has a promising future ahead of him.

Aldridge specifies, Scoot Henderson to be the next big thing. His playing style bears similarities to that of James’. The analyst writes, “It may sound crazy, but (Amen) has a little bit of LeBron in him, back in the day. He’s got the big-time body. Remember LeBron in high school; he couldn’t shoot it, very athletic, he was very much a facilitator too.”

Henderson’s impressive performances and flamboyant basketball skills are the reason behind this prediction. His average of 17.6 points, 6.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 30.2 minutes per game makes him a strong contender. Scoot appears 25 times in the G League Ignite. His skills further support his potential to become the second pick in the NBA Draft. There are high chances of Henderson going to the Charlotte Hornets, since they get the second pick this time at the draft lottery.
