Despite winning six titles together, NBA legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are not on the best of terms. Their friendship became problematic after the release of The Last Dance docuseries. Primarily Pippen thought the show diminished the role of him and his teammates in all the title runs. Things further took a weird turn after rumors of Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan dating Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen started doing rounds on the internet. During a recent appearance on VladTV, John Salley, a teammate of both MJ and Pippen was asked about the Marcus and Larsa dating rumors.

When talking about the dating rumors, the host noted some of the criticism the couple had received in the past. He also recounted the couple being heckled during an NFL game. Moreover, he mentioned Jalen Rose’s comments about their age gap.
Salley on Larsa Pippen dating Marcus Jordan
The host also touched on the strained relationship between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. However, John Salley thinks Larsa Pippen should not have to answer anyone about who she is dating. He added no one would have cared if she was dating any other 31-year-old man that was not popular. He stated, “Because if he wasn’t famous and was 31 years old, no one would say anything.”

He then gave a fishbowl analogy about the whole situation. He said, “It’s all in the fish bowl. It’s you eat what they eat in the fish bowl.”? The host stated Larsa doesn’t have to be in the fishbowl. Salley replied, “Well how is she going to get out of it?”
The host then argued that someone as popular as Larsa should be careful about who they date. He added there are billions of people on the planet that Larsa could have picked to date. However, Salley was still not convinced. He declared, “And she picks him!”
Before talking about Marcus and Larsa, Salley talked about Pippen. He noted that he thought he was friends with the Bulls legend but revealed his former teammate refused to talk with him.

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen were first seen together at a restaurant in Miami. Reports suggested they were on a double date with another couple. The two were then seen together in public multiple times and were recently heckled at an NFL game.

Amidst all the rumors and the criticism, the reality TV star recently revealed the two are just friends during an interview with WWHL.
