The Boston Celtics have been a well-run organization for years. Head coach Brad Stevens has been building a stable side for a long time. With players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Stevens has developed these players into world-beaters.

Although Boston has kept Stevens in the front office, the franchise will be in a transitional stage with their new boss. Garnett gave his opinion on the issue.

“So Brad Stevens came in and built this system and this, I don’t wanna say pedigree, but he built this structure that the guys have believed in. If feel like, when you do that, the investment is there. Danny has been whispering and has been hinting at you know leaving it.

“This is all Danny Ainge and him thinking and thinking that Brad can do this, and it just remains to be seen. I am is just as baffled as you though,” said Garnett.

Danny Ainge was a successful coach leading them to the NBA title with Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett. However, the appointment of Brad Stevens has raised eyebrows, as it will be a risk, considering he has no experience before. His credentials as a coach are exemplary, however, it remains to be seen whether he can grow into his role as the head guy.

Under the tutelage of Stevens, Tatum has become an unbelievable player. He averaged 26.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game in the regular season. Likewise, he had seven 40 point games this season. With Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker, they have a talented group of players. Although there are no genuine leaders in the team, Brad Stevens will hope to sign experienced players to lead them for a championship run.

Stevens has an eye for talent as he has proved during his career with the Celtics. This might be a key reason for his appointment in the front office.
