The NBA world was taken aback when the Draymond Green and Jordan Poole altercation took place. NBA fans, players, analysts, and even ex-NBA players spoke their views on the whole situation. And the most recent NBA legend to chime in on the altercation is ‘Big shot Bob,’ Robert Horry.

As many are already aware, Warriors star Draymond Green ended up punching Jordan Poole during training camp earlier this month. The two got into an argument, and went chest-to-chest. Poole shoved Green and after that Green landed a punch right in Poole’s face.

Jenners brought up the topic of the Green-Poole altercation. He mentioned that Draymond Green did not have to face many repercussions over what he did. Rob further pointed out that Green wasn’t even getting suspended but was just getting off with a fine instead.

Harper, Horry, and Jenners discussed what the fine was going to do in terms of any potential change. And everyone seem to agree with the fact that this fine would bring little change in Green’s attitude, behavior, or actions moving forward.

But the statement that Horry made on Green not facing any major punishment for his actions held some weight. Horry stated, “All the stuff that Draymond has done, you know, he’s gotten away with it.”

If the Warriors really wanted to punish him, they should say you know what, as an NBA player, one of the best things you could ever do is ring ceremony. When you get your rings. They should’ve said, yo, you cannot come to the ring ceremony, you’re suspended for that game, and that would hit home,” he added.

Green and his actions were below the belt

NBA players get into brawls every now and but for a player to put his hands on his own teammate so blatantly is rare. Meanwhile, a lot of players and analysts have called out Green’s actions. At the same time, many have dismissed it as just a common brawl between teammates.
