Not just a legend in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal has become a famous personality outside of basketball. He has enjoyed some well-known gigs in the fields of acting, music, and even professional wrestling.

But to many basketball fans, his most popular gig is that of a sports analyst on Tuner Sports’ show ‘Inside The NBA.’

Not just known for NBA match analysis, ‘Inside The NBA’ is also famous for friendly banter, especially the banter between Shaq, and co-host – NBA legend Charles Barkley. So when it was announced that Warriors’ star Draymond Green would join the TNT crew, the banter began as the crew welcomed Draymond to their squadron.

Shaq Welcomes Draymond With a Baffling Condition

Upon the signing of Draymond Green for Turner Sports, the crew on ‘Inside the NBA’ introduced the Warriors forward as their new teammate. The crew reminded Green of Barkley’s comments on him as the ‘Triple-Single,’ but it was nothing but love between Green and Chuck. Following this, Shaq spoke to Draymond, which was when the baffling condition was posed in response to Chuck giving Draymond the ‘Triple-Single’ nickname.

“Dray, I’m not gonna congratulate you cuz I already thought you were a member of the team. You do a great job and we love having you there,” said Shaq in appreciation of Green.

“And if you got a half a million for me, I’ll punch Chuck in his face right now. Say I won’t,” said Shaq.

Draymond smilingly responded that he would have taken up Shaq on that offer a year before, but since Barkley had helped out Draymond Green, that offer could not be accepted.

This kind of friendly banter between Shaq and Chuck is what makes the show lively. Adding Draymond into that mix adds to the funnies, but also brings in someone with an impressive hold on the game itself.
