Michael Jordan has three children with his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Juanita revealed in 2013 that she wanted her kids to get some real-life exposure despite having their dad’s countless wealth.
Juanita Vanoy talked about how she raised her kids Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine during an interview with Crain’s Chicago Business in 2013. She reckoned that her children got to enjoy living in the suburbs because of their wealth.

But, it was important for Juanita to make her kids experience the place where she grew up, in the south side of Chicago. So, she took her kids to her mom’s house where they got to witness the way their cousins lived.
Juanita Vanoy taught Jordan’s kids about real life
Michael Jordan‘s children got to experience how the real world worked by watching how the people lived in the south side of Chicago. Juanita Vanoy added, “They had an opportunity to play basketball with the kids on the south side and in my backyard that I grew up in.” She further went on to say that watching the average person’s daily routine provided their kids with a better perspective on life and society.

Michael Jordan got married to Juanita Vanoy in 1989. Their marriage lasted 17 years before the duo got divorced in 2006. MJ and Vanoy raised three children together. Their marriage finally came to an unfortunate end.
The former couple had distanced themselves over the years. Subsequently, MJ got married to model and actress Yvette Prieto in 2013. She later on gave birth to Jordan’s twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel.
