NBA legend Dennis Rodman has had one wild ride in his life. From growing up with only women in his life to being arrested at a young age, to being homeless at one point, and to becoming an NBA legend, Rodman has done it all. But when he was homeless, Rodman was still happy despite going through a lot of struggles.

Back when he was 18-19 years old, he made mistakes that he came to regret soon. He once stole 50-60 watches from a store in the airport. And he gave it away to his friends in high school. Rodman thought he could get away with it.

But that wasn’t the case as the cops found him and tracked him down to his house. And he was arrested and sent to jail. Luckily for him, the cops found all the watches and they decided to drop the charges. But his mom was not happy.

After the charges were dropped, his mom took Rodman back home. And she told him on the ride back that she was gonna kick him out of the house as he wasn’t working. She also wasn’t pleased about the fact that Rodman was arrested. So she threw him out.

But the Chicago Bulls legend wasn’t worried. When asked how he felt being homeless, he said,” I thought it was cool, but it wasn’t cool at that time, but I started to get so used to it. You know, I get up, do some like needy chores and stuff like that… for 2-3 bucks.”?

“I was like getting used to it, I was happy as f***, I was happy as hell… I could see my friend every day, go play ball every day. That was my mindset,”?Rodman added.

Rodman said that he did not see himself becoming who he is right now. But at that time, he was comfortable doing what he did. He worked hard and used to have fun. And he then went to college and worked hard to become an NBA star while having a wild ride throughout. And that all started when his mom threw him out of the house for being arrested.
