‘It’s Hurting’: Trae Young Gives Major Updates on His Injury After Disappointing Game 3 Defeat to Bucks

It hasn’t been the same for the Atlanta Hawks since the time Milwaukee Bucks took charge of the conference finals series. The Bucks are leading 2-1 at the moment with Giannis and Co. putting up two consecutive victories. With everything that is going against the Hawks after a shockingly fantastic season, their key player Trae Young is the latest addition to the injured list.

The tie-breaking Game 3 of this Bucks-Hawks series went in the favor of Mike Budenholzer’s team. It was Milwaukee’s game as Khris Middleton led the scorecard with 38 points and an excellent fourth quarter.

Hawks suffered a 113-102 defeat to the Bucks in Game 3 and now, they are falling behind in the series. Their most dominant player, Trae Young, put up 35 points in the game but faced an unfortunate injury towards the end of the third quarter. He tripped over an official’s foot and fell to the ground with slight ankle pain.

Well, it was a scary sight for Hawks fans considering Trae has been their messiah this postseason. The young man has been an assassin on the court with tremendous performances under pressure.

Playing against the bigwigs of the league isn’t an easy stride; however, Trae was quite successful with the same. He daggered 48 points in the opening matchup against the Bucks while the world watched his talent on display.

Trae Young is ‘hurting’ after Game 3 injury

Now that the Hawks star is injured, he had something to say about it after the match.

“It’s sore right now. It’s hurting, it’s frustrating. All I can do right now is get treatment. I couldn’t really go as fast as I wanted to, whenever I did, it hurt. So, just gotta get treated, and hopefully, I feel better before the next game.”

The city of Atlanta isn’t going to be happy after reading this. But, Trae is hopeful of getting better before the next matchup. Nevertheless, if Trae goes down, it’s expected that the Bucks would easily make it to the finals.

Trae is the only force stopping a team like Milwaukee Bucks from thrashing the Hawks.
