Currently engaged in the regular season with the Nets, the 9-time All-star seldom gets the time to react to fans. But recently, he has responded to a fan who got a tattoo that is all too familiar to him.

Harden averages over 25 points in his career. He has made a name for himself with scintillating stints at Houston and Brooklyn. Months ago, a tattoo artist posted a picture of one of his creations. His client got a tattoo of a bearded man on his chest, and it looked all too familiar. Another fan posted the image on his Twitter, boldly claiming, “That’s James Harden my brother.” But that’s not all.

The wonderfully done piece, which looks like Harden, is in fact a tattoo of Jesus. As confirmed by the artist in the caption, he writes, “Black Jesus I got to do. Done on my super cool client Mikey Hardwick.” To the naked eye however, the work of art seems to be a tattoo of James Harden. And the man himself, who saw the Twitter post, reacted hilariously with a laughing emoji.
