Kanye West’s Cryptic Message on Kyrie Irving Becomes a National Story in Few Minutes

Infamous rapper Kanye West and Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving have been making headlines recently. Both of them made headlines for promoting antisemitic material online. Both have faced severe backlash ever since, with West being dropped from his endorsement deals, while Irving’s actions were condemned by both the Brooklyn Nets and the Nets’ owner Joe Tsai. But now it seems Kanye West has a cryptic message for the world.
Ye, as he is otherwise known, shared a black-and-white photo of Kyrie Irving on his Twitter feed. He didn’t put a caption, but his post seemingly signifies his support for the Brooklyn Nets star. Or perhaps it was an indication that they are brothers in arms because of the same situation they find themselves in? Either way, it has left a sour taste for many.

The rapper has lost out on many partnerships because of his controversial comments. Last month, he posted that he would go “death con 3 on Jewish people”. His inflammatory comments send shockwaves that resulted in Instagram restricting his account.
Kanye West has since lost over $2 billion. The disgraced rapper believes that is all part of a “humbling” for the “richest Black man”. He thanked God for these experiences.

The Brooklyn Nets player wasn’t as explicit as Kanye West. Kyrie Irving promoted a movie on social media titled, ‘Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America’. The film has been accused of carrying antisemitic material.

Irving responded to the backlash and described him to be an Omnist. He said that he respects all religions and meant no disrespect. Irving also questioned the media, asking if his actions were illegal or harmful.
Irving also had to face the wrath firsthand. A group of people in attendance at the Nets vs Pacers game were seen wearing “Fight anti-semitism” t-shirts while he was playing. The Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie Irving, and the Anti-Defamation League announced on Wednesday a donation to fight hate and intolerance. The Nets and Irving pledged $500,000 each towards organizations that combatted social injustice.
