Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic this Season
Both Durant and Doncic have had solid seasons so far. For KD, it was an amazing start to the 2021-22 season as he put up strong numbers and was even in MVP talks. Moreover, the Nets were winning games regularly and looked like they’d finish among the top seeds of the East. In fact, Durant also became one of the captains of the 2022 All-Star Game. However, since his injury, the Nets slipped down and are currently 8th in the East after the loss to the Mavs.

In fact, he too had a 50 point performance like KD this season. It is clear that he will not back down from any challenge.
At present, Luka’s Mavs are 5th in the West with a 42-26 record. They too will aim to win their remaining games to further improve their standing in the conference.
