Kevin Durant on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Kevin Durant stated he doesn’t visit the movie theater anymore. The two-time champion revealed he fell asleep while watching Thor during his last visit to the movie theater. According to him, the movie was so bad and wasted his time which eventually made him decide not to visit the movie theater anymore.

Gonzalez further asked whether he know about the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The two-time NBA champion casually replied he didn’t even know about the trailer. After that, Eddie suggested KD see the movie in the theater. However, KD replied, “I will wait for it to drop on Apple TV.”

The host further suggested KD watch the movie because he thought it was going to be special. He added the Brooklyn Nets star could expect a lot of things from the movie as it holds a lot of expectations after the demise of Chadwick Boseman. But it seemed like Durant is not interested in the movie.

Therefore, the reason for not visiting the movie theatre was quite clear from his hesitance. The boredom experienced by Durant during his previous visit fueled his unwillingness to go to the movie theater in the future. It also showed that even a movie like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could not change the mind of Kevin Durant.
