Kobe Bryant had an exceptional 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe engaged in a lot of different ventures after retirement. One of these ventures was founding a multimedia company called Granity Studios. Kobe established this company to release content for teenagers and young people.

Granity Studios won an Oscar in 2018 for releasing a short film called ‘Dear Basketball’.
Kobe Bryant engaged in a conversation with Jimmy Fallon and talked about his new venture. This new venture was in the form of publishing a book. Bryant revealed that his idea behind the book was an intersection between Harry Potter and Game of Thrones type fantasy coupled with sports.

Bryant published the book with help from Wesley King. He was the author who brought Bryant’s vision to life. Bryant’s main aim was to help children and young adults have a journey of self-discovery through basketball.

The Wizenard Series is a book that has a mix of fantasy and sports. It can be described as a journey to self-discovery through the sport of basketball.

The book provides entertainment through fantasy and magic. However, the main aim of the book is to give coaching and life advice to kids through entertainment. Kobe Bryant was one of the most disciplined and motivated basketball players in the history of the NBA. His ‘Mamba Mentality’ has been undefeated even by today’s standards.

Kobe had a lot of experience both on and off the Court. Consequently, he believed that sharing his advice would help kids all over the world.

In the conversation with Jimmy Fallon, Kobe talked about how he wants children to fight their fears through this book. Kobe Bryant aimed to normalize the idea of self-acceptance through this book. “We all have fears. We all have anxieties…you can’t ignore them”, he told Fallon candidly.

Kobe Bryant talked about his experience with anxiety and fear. His mentality was to always confront fear and overcome it. Kobe wanted to show that fighting fear is possible, and once you do that, you are free from the control fear holds over you.
