Kobe Bryant reveals the reason Stephen Curry is lethal

It was no easy task to earn the respect of one of the best players of the game. Kobe Bryant was not someone who could be easily impressed. However, while excessive work rate was something that Mamba looked for in a player, lucky for Curry, he didn’t shy away from hard work. Although, there is a more subtle quality about him that Kobe thought made him a huge problem for the opposition.

Bryant explained, “I see a calmness about him… And I think it’s something that a lot of players don’t understand. So I think it’s very hard for the fans to understand what I’m saying. Because most players don’t get it.”

He continued saying, “And when a player has the skills, when he’s trained himself to have the skills to be able to shoot, dribble left, right, etc., and then you mix that with this calmness and poise, and you have a serious, serious problem on your hands.”

It is Curry’s this ability that has helped him earn the title of the greatest shooter of all time today. This season is a prime example. Steph broke the all time record and shattered the three point scales. However, in terms of shooting the ball, he hasn’t had a great time on the court.
