The Los Angeles Lakers vs. The New York Knicks was an extremely gripping game. The game stretched into overtime and this was LeBron James’ first game after coming back from his recent injury.
The Los Angeles Lakers were trailing by a huge margin at the end of the first quarter. They bucked up and managed to come back into the game by the third quarter. With the joint effort of the team, they managed to seal the game and take home the win.
However, things were not so happy for all Laker players. Namely, Russell Westbrook. Westbrook had an extremely bad performance today. He was extremely inconsistent with his shooting and was constantly missing open shots. Consequently, things got so bad that the Laker fans started shouting at him to not take a three-pointer.

Westbrook still proceeded to take the three-pointer. Unsurprisingly, he missed it. The Laker nation is extremely displeased with how Westbrook has been playing ever since he got signed to the purple and gold outfit. The fans dreamed of a championship when they heard that Westbrook would be coming to L.A.
However, all they have gotten till now are memes on Westbrook and shattered dreams. It is important to note that Westbrook is not considered an average player. He was won MVP, All-Star MVP, and has been selected to numerous All-Star and All-NBA teams. This makes the disappointment even greater.

LeBron James and the Lakers seal the win
LeBron James continues to keep defying the odds of getting old. He just returned from an injury and put on an amazing scoring performance. He even managed a triple-double. LeBron scored 29 points, 10 assists, and 13 rebounds. LeBron put up exceptional numbers today. He is still at his peak even at the age of 37.
Anthony Davis also seems to be finally adjusting after coming back from his injury. He has been consistently performing in the last few games. Davis managed a double-double with 28 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 assists. It is good to see that LeBron and Davis are finally getting back the chemistry that won them the 2020 NBA championship.
