The Los Angeles Laker’s season ended sooner than they would have expected. But LeBron James is busy enjoying the offseason with his family, away from the sport. Yet, he is in the news for his appearance at the Paris Fashion Week and the never-ending debate between him and Michael Jordan.

But, there are more reasons for his coverage in the news. And this time, it isn’t directly coming from him.

So apparently, there’s someone who thinks both LeBron James and Kevin Durant are too old to carry the league anymore. He thinks the league needs new faces like Ja Morant and Zion Williamson.

Zion Williamson and Ja Morant are both young and talented and have faced tough seasons in the past. While Ja is now facing a 25-game ban for showing his firearms around on social media, an injury torments Williamson. Zion’s involvement with an ex-adult film actress is also scarring his professional journey, very early on.

Amidst all the controversies involving the two payers, Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young is confident that Ja and Zion will overcome their situations and continue to contribute to the league.

On his podcast, Young expresses his support for the two players. He acknowledges the challenges they’re facing. He says he knows them personally and hopes they overcome the difficulties and succeed.

Young said, “I really hope they get out of this situation and pull out on the right side…They’re so talented like they’re so good, the league needs these types of players in the league for it to go, because I mean obviously Bron [LeBron James], and guys like KD these guys are getting older.”

Now, following a new draft class of 2023 in which more outstanding players like Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson, and many more have entered the league, Zion and Ja face uncertain prospects. Zion is battling health concerns and trade rumors, whereas Ja has been suspended for the second time this season. Nobody knows what will become of them in the end.
