LeBron James achieved another feat in his legendary NBA career. He is now the player with the most regular and playoff points in the history of the NBA. This achievement was previously held by Lakers legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

LeBron James has one of the most illustrious careers in the NBA. He has done everything a professional basketball player could wish to do. However, he feels a little bittersweet after accomplishing this new feat. LeBron overtook Kareem, however, he did so in a losing effort. The Golden State Warriors defeated the Lakers today in what was an extremely close match-up.

LeBron said, “I hate doing anything when it comes in a loss. We had an opportunity to win a big game tonight. But like I said, anytime I’ve been linked to any of the greats, I’ve been in awe.”

LeBron showed his appreciation for the sport and the NBA community throughout the interview. He thanked his teammates and all his loved ones for supporting him. LeBron was grateful and appreciative. He seemed proud of himself for breaking another record. However, it was a tough defeat against the Warriors which sours the memory sightly.

LeBron James had another age-defying performance today. He managed to add another double-double to his stat sheet. He scored 26 points and 15 rebounds. Moreover, he had 8 assists to go with that. The Warriors won the game only by a split second.

The final score was 117-115. Therefore, the Lakers had a good chance to win. However, the game slipped from them in the final minutes of the last quarter. Losses like these are always hard to take in. The Lakers played like an actual team today, a sight that fans are seeing after a long time.

Everyone on the team was taking care of the ball and trying to contribute as much as they could. Additionally, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook also had good performances today. The superstar trio are finally getting a synergy among themselves. This was not one of their best performances this season, however, this performance shows that these three stars can play with each other.

If the Lakers build on this chemistry, there is nothing they cannot achieve. Half the season is almost over, however, they still have enough time to buck up and make a playoff run.
