Both Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins eventually signed multi-year contract extensions valued at over $140 million and $109 million respectively. Their extensions have solidified their positions and futures within the team. But nothing was said about Draymond Green.

However, there were many strong responses within the NBA world that negated Green being traded due to the incident. But fans joked that his close friend LeBron James would come to his rescue.

Despite being opponents, James and Green have a solid friendship. They are often found to be together at parties and other social gatherings. It also doesn’t come as a shock that James is also known for his influence in these dealings.
Following the altercation, Draymond Green took a self-imposed hiatus for a few days away from his teammates. He was not suspended from the team, but fined for his actions instead. He cleared up rumors that suggested contract negotiations were the reason for the argument. But his future was still uncertain within the team.
Coach Steve Karr addressed this incident as the “biggest crisis” he had ever faced since joining the team. At a recent media interaction, Poole broke his silence as well, saying that he and Green are professionals, and focused only on playing basketball.
