If there is one thing that ‘The Last Dance’ documentary showed, is don’t ever offend Michael Jordan. And if you do, you better hope that he doesn’t take it personally. But one of his own teammates, Scottie Pippen, forgot about that and ‘His Airness’ took it personally, leading him to drop 100 points on Pippen’s team.
‘The Last Dance’ doc showed how vicious and ruthless Jordan was. It showed the side that made Jordan the serial winner that he is today. And how he used to motivate himself in order to destroy his opponents.

At the same time, it also showed how Jordan used to take things personally when he didn’t agree with something.

Dallas Maverick’s head coach and NBA legend Jason Kidd once recalled a story about Jordan. He said that after he got drafted by the Mavs, he went to play a charity game in Chicago at the old stadium. Pippen was the one hosting the match, and the team was supposed to be the Chicago Bulls versus the rest. But Pippen ended up putting Jordan on Kidd’s team. That was enough for Jordan to get triggered.

Kidd said, “And Mike kinda took that personal, and went out there and scored 100 points, and we ended up winning the game, but it was just, as a rookie, my first encounter with Michael, was being his teammate and I was excited to have that opportunity… And it was just eye-opening, how serious he took the game.”
